Discrete Wireless, an Atlanta-based company, hired us to formulate an identity system for their new company. The only requirement was that a certain color blue be used. We researched the telecommunications industry to determine what trends and images were in use, and held numerous discussions with the client to determine their needs and expectations. We developed a logo that incorporated a wave symbol, an image that the company felt perfectly related what they were about and the service they provided. As many companies in the field had used more “high-tech” looking typography, we felt a return to a classic typeface would serve to set Discrete apart. The system included business card, letterhead, and envelopes, and served to help establish their brand in the marketplace.
