Global Locate hired MDesign to create a series of data sheets on its new product that had to include copy accessible to everyone, yet also include technical drawings and specifications for engineers and developers. Because of the sheer amount (and bilateral nature) of the information, we felt the sheets needed to be 2-sided to make them easily readable and negotiated, with more general copy on the front and the technical data on the back. Since the product had global use, image-wise we created montages of maps of world locations married with people using the technology; as side borders we developed “tech-y” collages utilizing colors unique to each sheet. We rendered the technical illustrations and incorporated the color scheme into each. The sheets were instrumental in both promotion of the company and securing additional financing.
